Wifinity is the UK’s leading independent provider of business critical connectivity for complex, multi-site and multi-tenant environments. The business serves over a million unique devices each month.
Based in London and founded in 2007, Wifinity delivers tailored connectivity solutions which traditional telecom operators lack the capability and service model to provide, serving clients across diverse markets including defence, leisure, specialist accommodation, corporate and public sector, and offshore.
Connecting more customers
In September 2021, LDC backed the Wifinity management team – led by CEO Costas Demetriou – to continue to grow, both organically and through acquisition.
The partnership enabled Wifinity to invest in its wireless network infrastructure, deepen relationships with existing clients and win new customers across multiple sectors.
Wifinity also made two acquisitions; offshore vessel connectivity specialist Vital WiFi and UK network connectivity provider Next Connex – to expand its capabilities into new markets including offshore energy platforms and commercial shipping and strengthen its technical expertise in WAN, SD-WAN and infrastructure-as-a-service solutions.
